Hi all,
Does anyone have any suggestions for using the US Robotics Wireless USB Adaptor (USR805422) with Vista?
I have tried so many different ways. Even by connecting through the wired LAN and getting windows update to download an updated driver...
I have been in contact with US Robotics, and their only advice was:
Thank you for contacting USRobotics.
Unfortunately when it comes to your operating System, it is still a BETA version and not even Microsoft supports it , therefore we have no drivers for it
This product is not supported on Windows Vista.
I have since emailed asking if they have a beta release of the drivers, can I test them out, but no reply as yet.
The drivers appear to work after a reboot, and in Device Manager, it is showing as working, but the light is on all the time (normally only flashes on data transfer). Vista knows it is a Wireless USB adaptor, but when it you select connect, it says something on the lines of there is no wireless network within range...
